skyline engine

would a skyline engine and components fit in a maxima? my friend asked me to find out....he has a maxima

well enless hes got alot of cash anything is possible but very doubt full

well consider this. you probably want the R34 engine (rb26dett) it will almost for sure use different motor mounts. since its mant for a RHD car the steering column will almost for sure hit something. wiring will be a bitch. cost of a skyline engine (around 8K iirc). hmm what else switching your maxima to a 4WD car. bottom line its border line impossible. soooo much custom fab work would be needed. just get a stillen supercharger for the maxima and youll be happy.

i think iheard someone say, they only thing similar about the max and the skylines engine is the bottom part of it... other than that... nothing... and putting one into a maxima, as much as i'd like to see that.... I think would be impossible. Well... not impossible. But too expensive to bother doing.

wut kool about the max is the suspension on the new 5th generation is that it got the skyline suspension
