hi, I have a question, when trying to swap an Mk3 dash in an Mk2 Jetta what do you have to do to the stearing collum to make it fit, also any other tips on this job would be greatly appretiated

when you have some mags where the clearcoat is peeling away on a lip it looks like crap, how can you get that all off and restore it some people told me to use fine sandpaper and then use aluminum polish (i believe the finished surface is aluminum and not chrome) ... but wont that just take off...

I dont know about you, but i had a little debate about no clutch paddle, or shift "f1 style" driving.. ive had people tell me that its faster and all that... ok ok, ,if you had an E46 M3, ,would you take 6-speed or SMG ? what about Audi new CVT, thats no shifting at all, i know its fast...
