News: ‘Furious 8’ To Debut in April 2017

Vin Diesel has confirmed that “Furious 8” will hit theaters on April 14, 2017. The actor was speaking to theatre owners at Universal’s CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas today.

It was two years ago that Diesel and the late Paul Walker were on the same stage at Caesar’s Palace announcing plans for "Furious 7."

“We were giddy and excited,” Diesel said. “You all gave me so much confidence. There was so much love.”

“Furious 7” is currently in theatres and after $1.15 billion in sales it has already reached No. 7 on the all-time highest-grossing films list.

I don't know... alot of people could be excited to see what it looks like without Paul.


And btw I am sure he will do a few cameos in the next movies... just quick scenes of him (his brother / CGI) talking on the phone, driving etc.

Yes, I agree but that's not my point.

Every single person I asked why you want to see the movie, answered almost the same way, "I do not know...for Paul..."! And I say...for his brother you mean...
That's pretty much the idea. People that never ever seen any of the movies, went to see 7. I was like, what , do you even know what is all about? Why suddenly you want to see it?
