1992 sunburst yellow miata

this is my newest toy
a little history of the car from what i have been told and seen,
not too far from my house there was a car lot that was abandoned by the owner and it fell into utter dismay, people were going in and stealing parts off the cars and setting fire to most of them, but to my luck the miata was right by the road so it wasnt molested too much the tail lights, the seats, the soft top, even the shifter knob was stolen, the hard top rear window was also smashed in just recently so all sorts of water and snow got into the interior but the floors are perfect








cant wait to get it looking the way i want it to

Yeah strange, a sunburst hardtop can be sell easily for 1000$ if it is OEM from what I've seen when I purchased mine!

no the top was originally from a red car but the car came with a hard top from the factory
 
clean up and a new valve cover gasket the old one was leaking pretty bad




i havent put it back on yet its sitting in the green cleaner stuff so i can paint it
 
hey guys im back to work on this instead of it being in my drive way now its been put into my garage out of the elements:
first off painted valve cover:

i personally think it looks alot better

now for the real fun im going to start the major body work to make it pretty for the road:

hopefully in the next 3 weeks once all my body work is finished im going to be personally painting it this color:


with a white engine bay and a set of (15"X10") white basset racing wheels, as for interior im not sure what i want to do yet

im hoping to swap a 13btt into it by the beginning of next summer

man for some reason the car just dosent look right to me in yellow its more of a rx7 color to me and plus its just a miata, if the price of a sunburst car goes through the roof ill repaint it top to bottom bare metal rebuild

well i figured i have never ever seen a miata in this color in montreal or canada so i decided i would do mine that color,, right now the miata is going to be put on hold because im going to be helping a friend fix his cancer filled 240sx and get her looking prime, also put on hold because of lack of parts and money

lots, heres a list of stuff :

taillights
fenders (both of them)
bumper cover (front)
seats
carpet
rear view mirror
exterior mirrors (both)
front bumper lights(the clear ones, i think they are turn signals)
and a couple bits and pieces
