supra 68k @ 80k en 1998
300zx de 48k NA et 55k TT en 1995

en dollars d'aujourd'hui,

Supra: 105 000$ can
300zx: 77 500$

Holy!! Question: Pourrait-tu scanner ces pages et le poster?

I can hardly wait to get mine. We waited 20 years for another Type R.
I think the majority of the people posting here do not understand how special the Type R was when we saw it in 1997- 1998 for Canada.
It was really really special- hand built engines, special lightweight parts. This car destroyed its competition at that time. In fact it got ABS banned in PWC touring class.

Yes, the new look is , well non orthodox and I suppose it will have to grow on you- heck the huge rear wing on the original Type R was so outrageous when we first saw it BUT then it was the most copied style for aftermarket.
Technically this car will be awesome. I hope its expensive , so that the casual person doesn't by it and they become as rare as the first ITR.

Haters gonna hate.... and Type Rs gonna be Type R.

I'm anxious to see the handling special sauce they've built into this thing. People are claiming the turn in is mind blowing for a FWD. I'm looking forward to understanding the differential magic as well.

I can say this, I was never a big fan of honda (excluding nsx and s2000), the car is more expensive than I can afford right now or think makes sense, I would look a little bit ridiculous at my age in traffic to run it as a daily, point being I still want one for some reason...

The reason I bought my 2013 Si was that it was $26k MSRP fully equipped including Navigation. Similar spec'd GTI at the time was north of $32k and the FRS was
utterly useless in terms of day to day practically.

The type R is a halo car so I doubt it'll be a good bang for buck but I'd love to be proven wrong.

I can say that the ITR has the " je ne sait quoi " - if the CTR has the same, it will be special. There was a lot of "R" built into the original and even this day- still a way balanced car on the track.
My ITR is fully stock- still fresh engine , on Konis and Hawks- at Mosport , it requires just a lift and pitch for T8 and its more fun than my Evo.

I do really hope that it will still having that ''Type-R'' prestance and not being ''bourgeoisement'' Civic.

il aurait quand meme pu en avoir un aux 2 salon de l'auto dans la province. ca aurait fait tout un buzz, non ? je m'attendais a la voir a québec, pis nope, pas la. disappointed.

Exactly. At that price point, you can't make it look like it was intended for 18-22 year olds. They should have built the ILX as a Type-R (to imitate the old Integra) This new Civic is just...bad...styling-wise. I applaud Honda for bringing the Type-R drivetrain here, let alone keeping the nameplate alive, but the styling alone puts me off to the point where I'd never consider it. It's trying WAY too hard.

With the ILX Type-R, they'd have no problem selling it at $40k ++

I don't mind that it's front-wheel drive. Keeps it lighter anyway, and if you can manage the torque (which it sounds like they did very well) then you don't need the rear wheels powered.

Jva tu pouvoir aller chercher les petits fin aérodynamique qui sont coller sur le toit en arrière pour mettre ça sur l'aileron de mon RS ?

Je pourrais même en installer un a l’envers qui sait ..
