Not sure if I posted my bike here before, but this is how she sits right now. I'm slowly building it to my liking, and spent the last year and a half making sure it's running well. It was pretty clean when I got it, so I have a hard time modding it without spare original parts. When I find a pair of extra fenders, I'm going to chop them up, and paint them black. I just got that spare seat and I'm planning to flatten it out. If I can learn to sow sometime soon, I'll use the same pattern and make my own, tan/brown diamond-stitch seat.
As some stated, it's hard to put in time when you have a child. My daughter just turned one not too long ago, but thankfully she enjoys watching me doing any kind of manual labour. When she's a bit more stable on her feet, I'll have her around me while I do things in the garage.
I bought this CB360 just over 2 years ago before I started my motorcycle classes, and I'm glad do say that it's the perfect daily driver. I use it everyday to work (after dropping my daughter off to daycare in the Volvo, lol), and a few rides into town during the week. I've spoken to some owners of bigger bikes like the CX500 and whatnot, and I'm surprised to hear that this bike revs lower on the highway at 120kmph than those with a bigger engine. I kind of thought 500-650cc would be more comfortable on the highway, but it looks like I'll be keeping this one forever. I've sometimes contemplated selling it for a slightly bigger bike, but seems like having the 6th gear really makes a difference.
Maybe in a year or two, I'll look for a FZ-09/XSR900 to compliment it, but this is serving it's purpose perfectly, and I'm really enjoying working on it. Plus the $400 plate isn't making me want to sell it every year, lol.
