2025 Spotted Thread

This is one of the i8s that I take care of and it’s in my favourite i8 colour. Protonic Blue. In for annual service and to replace the High Temperature cooling circuit supply/return pipes as they corrode externally. Used all OEM Parts, System bled with ITSA and service registered with main database.

Servicing is pretty much the same stuff as a 1.5L Mini.

These cars drive absolutely fantastic and don’t really get the love they deserve.

À voir la valeur de revente ridicule et qu'elles sont toutes disparues de la route..

Comme toutes bonnes bmw luxueuse j'imagine que c'est des nice PITA$$$ à garder en forme.

Full carbon tub and cool doors! Too bad Kruger killed off the iDivsion at a BMW. It’s such a crazy tale and how it set them back a decade reforming the band when the board tossed him out

Basic maintenance isn’t terribly expensive but things like A/C compressor failure, engine mounts or worse KLE “CCCU” charging control unit failure like many i3, 330e etc. A/C compressor from RockAuto 2 years ago was 2300$ alone plus fitting plus cleaning all the lines out etc. CCCU can be repaired if the board isn’t fried, there is a guy in Latvia just don’t expect fast turnaround time.
