As the title say, someone owns one?

I want to know the effiency and precision of this product in real life use, not only on spec sheet.

Thanks!

I work with actual CAD point clouds produced by professional equipment (Leika 3d survey stations). I've seen demos with cheap hand held devices and they all only provide a mesh that a 3d specialists need to use as a skeleton to build an actual model from.

Technology in that field evolves realy fast though, I havent seen that specific hardware used.

Exemple, check-out RECAP from Autodesk, it does pretty amazing things with just a camera and allows quick and easy imports into autocad/Revit.

I've already work with mesh so it's not a problem.

I want a small, cheap, and easy to use 3D scanner so I can scan car parts that don't need a high level of precision and work with that.

Considering how fast that segment of tech is evolving, I cant judge compared to the bulky high precision stuff we work with. This looks pretty cutting edge...
