News: Alberta government's attack on RHD vehicles

Ahhhh crap. I thought I heard something about RHD cars this morning while waking up. I would be surprised if they banned RHD cars here being that Alberta is the most "free" province IMO. That being said, I can feel that things are slowly changing for the worse here.

Calgarians in general drive like they just hopped in a car for the first time, it's absolutely ridiculous. Throw a bit of snow into the mix and all hell breaks loose. I've seen hundreds of accidents here, but never one involving a RHD car.

Honestly it's stupid af. My friend in Arizona has that problem, too. It's a bullshit 25 year rule there aswell.
Imo it should be 5 years tops, or better yet no restrictions. Just let us drive what we want as long as it's inspected and street legal. Guess that would hurt business for dealerships here, but I really don't care lol.

Of course, they're all in storage for winter :p

hahaha oh my, SURVEY MONKEY..... what a credible source

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BN2TLYF

i spoke with some friends in Calgary, and they told me that this is pure BS.
if the government wants toi do a survey it will be on its official website. not a cheap e-survey site.
