from a best buy rep:

"Like every year, we feel it is important to recognize the Moving Day holiday in Quebec because it is a significant day in this market and it's the only place in Canada where this happens,"

lol "Moving Day Holiday"
Doesn't Best Buy realize that the petit peuple that needs to move on July 1st can't afford new electronics? That their income is primarily spend on cigarettes and Loto Quebec scratch and win tickets?

Calm your tits OP. I know someone who works for future shop and they genuinely have a big rush in june for appliances for people moving, and not just in quebec.

I hate people who take offence at every little thing they can pull the race/language card on.

Didn't take long for BestBuy to figure out they fu**ed up, they switched the name on the site back to Canada Day sale. :p

Even the spokesperson is a moron says that he feels its important to celebrate the "moving day holiday", it isn't a holiday genius. All you have to do is check your calendar to see why we REALLY have the day off

Because someone is moving on july 1st, that mean he's poor as fuck?
Who the fuck beleive that?
Last time I move, 4yrs ago, was to get closer to work cause I was tired of commuting 1h30 each day just for work.
Now I'm at 15min from work

1er juillet, le jour au québec l'où il se mange le plus de pizza, qu'il se boit le plus de bières et que le monde sacre le plus.

I can tell you moveing on the first you drink just as much as the 24th! Pizza + Beer is the only way you can tip friends for helping you move  So happy I don't have to move this year.

Notice how the prices here are higher right in the flyer?

"Green" taxes included in prices; going right into expenses accounts of some dumb cunt who got elected by default, because the reasonable people were dividing their votes over the other parties.

Did anyone else notice that the same lap top and TV are more expensive in the Quebec flyer?

42$ de plus pour la TV.

Juste pour contourné cette taxe de merde, j'irais acheté ma TV en Ontario, même si ça coûte la même chose en gaz.
