BMW I think toned down this car in order to justify buying the M3, they realized with the 335i too many people bought it and boosted it past the M3. It may be even why they renamed it

Coupe doesnt refer to the number of doors, although most of them are two doors its the styling that defines it.

As a BMW fanboy at heart, it kills me to say this but I agree with you.

It's really too bad, the concept looked so nice! So much more agressive! So much potential! But they had to water down the wine in the end those bastards.

And with the M3's "legendary" reliability, watering down the next best option will most likely drive a few people away from the 4 series.

The car looks really good and Crhis's is like gold so I'm sure it performs really nice as well, but I have to say I'm against the whole 4 series thing. I'm a bit of a purist so I don't like when they mess with a good thing but they do have to keep up with the market afterall. Comparing this to S5 is not really fair, wait for the M4 at least, and even then in my opinion the front end on an S5 is a huge miss.
