I've had my car serviced at both BMW Canbec and BMW Laval and the difference is night and day.

BMW Canbec is a complete joke. Took me forever to get help and I had an appointment. Then it took me another 25min to get a rental car, and then they charged me $15... wtf is the point of $15.

BMW Laval has exceptional service. I was always in and out of there with a FREE rental car within 5-10 minutes. Everything was run so smoothly and everyone was so efficient and friendly. I dont have a single complaint about BMW Laval and I will continue to go there.

The only reason I would start going to BMW West Island is due to its proximity. It looks like a very nice modern BMW dealership. There is a huge luxury car market in the West Island. Kirkland, DDO, Beconsfield, Ile Bizard, Lakeshore, Dorval... all of these places have very wealthy individuals living in them that have wives, husbands, daughters and grand kids driving BMW's on a daily basis.

The only downfall I seeing if for the surrounding dealers like Laval and Canbec. My belief is that Canbec will feel the hit of this new new dealer instantly. I also happen to know that BMW Laval is doing well and are in no risk of closing or selling.

I have dealt with most BMW dealers in greater Montreal area.. Right now servicing ONLy at BMW laval because their timing and service quality is outstanding.
Actually their customer service is even better than the on in Germany (stuttgart)
canbec us alright, the just won't go the extra mile unless you're buying $80000+ car..

Jalbert service sucked balls..
Sulvain at the parts dep. Rocked, best parts rep. I've ever seen..
And Gary the new cars saleman was cool too.. The rest was garbage..

The only BMW dealership I would buy from is BMW laval.

I'd say the new location is better, actually. Closer to the 13, St-Laurent...

The new location is actually way better...

The old place was quite no where, alone in his spot...You had to know where it

was otherwise your were totally missing the place...

The company that loaned the money just happens to be owned by a very good family friend. Otherwise I wouldn't have posted it.

Businesses borrow money all the time, it sure as hell doesn't mean they are in trouble, it means they are expanding!

I was at the new BMW in the West-Island last week. Very nice place the lounge area looks great.
I went to ask them to pull up a service record on a car and they took down my info and everything to call me back. They called back the next morning to tell me that they couldn't tell me anything because it was an US vehicle. I called Laval the same day and they gave me the service record over the phone.:dunno: I guess they are just new. It also took about 5 minutes and 2 guys to give me the price on a simple liter of oil.:dunno:
