Hey,

Can anyone tell me if Hawk HPS and Axxis/PBR Ultimate pads are similar in terms of performance? Are the Hawk's worth the extra cost?

The Hawk HPS and the Axxis Ultimates are very similar in performance but the HPS may prove to be more durable on the track.

For the price however, the Ultimates are hard to beat. They are actually hard to keep on the shelf as they sell by themselves.

well depending on what you do with your car. If you never go to the trac, i wouldnt waste my money on those pads. I would go for some higher end OEM pads like bendix which cost much less and actually perform just as good as hawk pads.

For a street driven application, the Ultimates are the best pad available. This includes using the Hawk's on the street.
 
I just got a set of pbr ultimate and brembo blanks from trac! After a quiet blend-in they are sooo awesome!! not even scared anymore :p
+ i got them at a really good price
