Chrysler 300s, what should I know

Seriously considering one. I drove a gunmetal 300S with the ZF 8 speed/Pentastar V6 and its a heck of a nice package, the power train package on the 300s is way better than the hemi V8 with the 5 speed. The only thing holding me back is Chryslers reputation. Stay away or go for it?

I'd be buying a 2014-2015 model, since most Chrysler seem to lose 50% of their value within a year.

Il a acheter un 300S 2013 qu'il a revendu et acheter un 2014

Je trippe sur ce char la, le confort, le moteur et la transmission, le systeme de son Beats. Y'a pas eu de trouble vraiment avec, il a eu un rappel sur le Charger qu'il l'empechait de rouler mais c'est toute.

Actuellement il a un noir sur noir avec les trims gun metal/foncé. Il est a vendre si ca t'intéresse.

The first gen had a weak front end: ball joints, tie rods, link kits etc.

This gen seems to be built better, early 3.6 had some intake gasket issues if I remember correctly but that was fixed a while ago. I say do it!!

edit: Il y en a deux 2013 dans mon coin pour 26K aussi, personellement je trouve ca un peu cher pour un char qui va continuer à perdre de la valeur drastiquement.

First your post about the Impala being a nice car and now you're thinking of buying a 300?

Come to think of it: With FCA being an italian company, the car's old e class platform and a german transmission there's a fair chance they'd let you in the euro meets. If not, get a lancia thema gril and you'll be all set!

All kidding aside, I'd go for it. The car is comfy, looks great and has solid ergonomics. Uconnect works flawlessly in my experience.

The pentastar has been a solid motor so far, the car's platform is proven and so is the lovely 8 speed ZF transmission. I don't think there'd be much to be concerned about from a reliability standpoint.
 
If you love the Jetta and the way it drive and built, I don't think you'll love the 300S for a long term acquisition,

still a nice car
 
J'ai chauffé régulièrement les 300s, et oui ça vaut le coup, 295hp, 3.6l, le confort la performance et l'économie d'essence dans un seul même véhicule.

Do it! En plus l'intérieur redesigned est vraiment beau

La nouvelle ère de Chrysler est plus qu'excellente!

J'ai la 200S AWD V6 et c'est performant, confortable, pas dure d'essence et tout les options 2.0 que le monde aime.

La 300S était trop grosse pour moi...je suis habitué au compact.

Je suis un gars de V8 Hemi généralement....mais la le V6 pentastar est plus suffisant pour un DD. Pas de surtaxe non plus au plaque.

Aujourd'hui j'ai un Ram V6 et ma 200S

9500km sur mon ram 2014.... 0$ et un trouble réglé au dealer (reprogramation transmission)
11000km sur ma 200S 2015...0$ et aucun trouble.

Used is good..but sometime hard to get ''THE ONE'' with all the options wanted, colors etc....
 
c'est pu comme avant.
Ca changé pas mal la tôle ou la façon de l'apprêté.

J'ai eu un ram 2008 avant et quelque moi après l'avoir eu, ont a eu un bad luck d'accroche sur un mur de briques.
Le mur lui à pas bougé, mais ma boîte de truck bossé et grafigné au métal...ben cré moé cré moé pas, la rouille n'as pas mangé la tôle!
juste en surface et ont a vendu le truck en 2013....ca passé 5 ans sa tôle. (oui j'ai été négligeant lol)

Dans le livret de Chrysler il mentionne comment il ont amélioré le façon de peinturé et amélioré la protection contre la rouille.
 
la nouvelle air Chrysler pouhahahahahaha laisse moi rire, j'ai un journey RT 2011 et c'est un osti de marde!!!!, en 78000 km les freins au 4 roues refait a grandeur 3 fois, les pièces de conduite suspention finis, radio qui garde pas l'heure, les 2 seal de cardant arriere coule, le 3.6l en demarrage a froid sonne comme un moteur sauté (lifteur qui ce decharge), banc en cuir cheap, ca bois comme un trous. TARMINÉ dodge, mon srt avant celui la etais aussi pire, faut croire que je me suis pas dompté.
 
Avant 2012, la plupart des Dodge Chrysler était a chier. Les intérieur était cheap en plastic et ressemblait tout au ram de base. (j'ai eu un Ram 2008)
Le début du V6 3.6 a eu ces problème.
Le Journey n'a jamais été bien coté non plus, je les ai magasiné essayé pis ca été un no go.

En 2012 il on fait un gros changement. Pour ca que j'avais mon Charger Superbee. Avant 2012..c'était laid.
Depuis ca bien changé.

Le V6 cause moin de trouble, il on fait les modifications approprié et ce sont des moteur super bien coté.

ta la pire année. c'était un nouvenau moteur en 2011, c'est certain qu'il y aurais des ajustement comme partout ailleurs. les brakes valent pas dla crotte parce qui sont trop petit et simple piston. un 3.6 tu t'attend a quoi comme consommation ? 6l/100 ?

Je m'attent au moin que ca accote mon 3.5l bi turbo de 540 hp dans le taurus de 4650 lbs... 10l/100km avec mon taurus en moyenne, le journey 283 hp, le meme poids et 14/15 au 100 km on est loin de

I have a Jetta also. IQ lease is over soon and is probably going to be replaced with an MK7 Golf or a Cruze hatchback (if it looks as good as the new Astra hatch). I want to replace the Jetta with something bigger.

Saw a few Astra GTC while in Europe last month and man it's gorgeous. And it's had that design in Europe since 2011. We're so behind here it's crazy. New euro Passat is very nice as well.
