un essence avec 100 d'IO et qui explose sans etre compressé a son maximum va-t-il généré autan de force qu'un essence d'IO de 91 poussé a la limite ?

When the guy with regular drove the other accord he said it felt so much newer and better:he could feel the difference". They think its because of the supreme gas, is this dum or what??
newschooler said:OBD2 adjust the timing accordingly to detonation. So the more octane you put, the more aggressive the timing can be set at before pinging.
On cars that doesn't have a knock sensor however, the ecu won't be able to adjust the timing so just put the gas that is recommended.
Weird Donkey said:i realy think it works only one way. like the knock sensor will retard ignition if it detect a knock (obviously) but it wont set the timing more agressively if it doesnt, the maps do not change.

But I agree, use the lowest octane rated gas your car can take. As you can see the 206 didn't gain anything with the higher octane gas.
I dont know, I have a 2006 saturn ion and they ask to put premium gas in it but I have felt a difference between reg and 91+ octane what do you guys think?
yes they say to put premium gas but its a 2.4 L !!
moi je mets tjrs du 94 dans mon rabbit.
dans mon mk4 je mettais du 94 au debut, le monde disais ca vaut pas la peine blabla pis quand je le feedais au 87 il cognait en sale. 94 ftw
