220k$ is outrageous for an ordinary 911… It feels like that was 911 Turbo / GT3 money not that long ago!

Awesome cars and I'm the first to say it. But like you say, 220 is insane for a base model. Gone are the days of a lightly used and warrantied GT3 for 130k lol.

My friend bought a 992.1 Turbo S, it's a nice spec. No outrageous options like paint to sample and other bullshit. Total price with luxury and sales tax: 450k

Turbo S Coupe or cab ? Even for a cab is a bit exaggerated, ( unless you have no idea what you do with options ) . I mean it has to be 390k before tax to make it 450k.
Including luxury tax, a Turbo S Cabriolet nicely equipped comes up to 340k , maybe 350k. Still I mean is closer to 400 k than to 450k.

For comparison :

For comparison :
350k+35k de luxury tax = 385k*1.15 = 443k

note: luxury tax is the lesser of 10% of the subtotal or 20% of everything above 100k.

But he still bought it though...
Company with 450 employees, single owner, no external investors, I'm not worried.

It's a coupe. GT Silver, panoramic roof, sport package and extended leather, nose lift. Like I said nothing outrageous like those CCX or whatever they're called custom options.

(300k base price + 50k options)*1.15 + 35k luxury tax = 437.5k, add PPF and you're there...

Exactly what I was saying. Do not know if it's you or him....but people like bragging. lol
Maybe it makes them feel better saying huge amounts.
Base price of a coupe Turbo S is 264 000$. If you want to tell me 296k including luxury tax....ok. I get it .
But don't ad it again after

Not to mention 50k of options is...not that common. Common is more like 35-40k.

Not to mention 90% of them are leased...so nobody is ditching out 400k...but that is another conversation. Not starting that.
It is getting out of control though...I totally agree.

My boss daily is turbo S lol. Well sure je use more is pickup on winter but he sometime use the turbo S.
He gave is gt4 plus macan gts.
