Montreal, June 29, 2013 - Some people say the car scene isn’t what it used to be. Some would argue the shows are all the same, the cars are all the same and there is an over saturation of the market with meets & events. Those who’d argue that would be changing their minds if they attended Eurokracy 2013, held today at Napierville Dragway.

Back for its third edition, the annual Eurokracy show moved to the bigger venue that Napierville provided to bring a product like no other to the Canadian scene. With NHRA approved 1/4 mile drag racing, burnout competitions, show & shine and a closed circuit low car competition called The Neckbreaker, it kept spectators entertained all day long.

Over the last 16 years I’ve attended a lot of shows. I’ve been to so many shows, there isn’t much that impresses me or surprises me anymore. Today, I was impressed. Eurokracy is the kind of event that sets the bar higher for others to follow. The vibe at the euro/stance themed show was more than you’d get at any other event with a parking lot full of cars. Since there is a common theme, I feel there is very little hate between the competitors. The cool thing is that there were many many non-Euro vehicles, demonstrating the crossover appeal of the fad called stance.

The Neckbreaker competition is unique to this event. It’s like car limbo with an added twist of having to go over speed bumps after. While a tad long to get started, it made for a different and unique thing to watch compared to just racing and burnouts.

With many vehicles from out of province and even out of country, it’s obvious that Eurokracy has put the Montreal scene back on top in terms of being a haven for car enthusiasts, particularly the Euro crowd.

It was my first time having a booth at an event this size (Vinyllabs.com booth next to the food line/stage). Next time I'll be more prepared. One of the best shows I've ever attended!

good stuff. Glad to see the show was a success once again. Keeps getting bigger.

Hopefully i'll have a car worthy of being shown next year!

I thought there was a 14 sec drag challenge. I ended up doing 13.99 and realize it was only to dry the circuit for the more powerful cars :s

Awesome show. This has to be one of - if not the biggest - show in Canada

Would have come and said hi if I knew it was you!

I want to see the video of the winners of the burnout contest.. Max and Alex bought a car for a grand Spesifically for it lol

It was a very great day but I'm still impressed by the level of stupidity in a crowd. The staff was always repeating to get the fuck out of the way (for the burnout, the neckbreaker, etc) and people moved to get back there after 10 seconds. Impressing.

Overall, great show, full of nice rides and many activities to keep people entertained all day long. Thanks guys..

I was one of those guys that kept moving a bit closer. However, if the staff would have made all the people standing on the concrete blocks get off, we would have been able to see and not walked forward.

No pics of my car, no care! lol

Was my first show in ages and first time I bring a car. Overall was a fun day, nice cars, crazy burnouts and drag racing.
Even though it rained a few times the weather wasn't that bad.

Neckbreaker is kinda pointless (my opinion) and the crowd kept getting smaller and smaller but kinda funny and entertaining to see how people are willing to mess up their front lips or bumpers to rep how low they are! Obviously it's different and original though.

Wow wow et wow !!! Journer incroyable !!! Le quebec a prouver quon a du stock de qualité ! Parcontre je suis pas daccord avec le gagnant du burnout mais bon ... Lol :p congrats team eurokracy
