C'est plus toi qui sonne faché pour aucune raison.

Je trouve bizarre de comparer la focus ST à un Golf R. 2 chars complétement différent avec des clientèle différentes et un écart de prix quand même important.IMO, la compétition direct de la ST est la MS3 et la GTI.

Je dois dire que stock, c'était assez décevant. Mais juste le flash stage 1 fait toute la différence. stage 2+ vraiment plus la même voiture

Je suis entièrement d'accord avec et c'est pourquoi je pense que le tout n'est qu'une question de goût. Moi par exemple, je préfère quelque chose de plus civilisé, un peu plus luxueux mais qui est quand même un jouet. Si VW n'avait pas tant abusé sur les prix, c'est sûr que j'aurais une Golf R.
 
Driven the Focus and it is a nice car but not as good all around as a Golf. Cannot judge the ST because I have never driven it but it is more of a competitor for the GTI vs the R. I would not spend $40K on the R but I would spend $40K on a BMW M135i which is the best hatch in terms of driving pleasure.
 
if the R would be 5k cheaper, I'd take it right away. Cause, AWD and better interior don't worth 10K IMO.

but in a few years, I might go for the R cause it's gonna be cheaper.

Seriously? The Golf R is close to $50K when you factor in dealer prep + taxes. It is not better looking than a GTI and the leather seats you get are terrible versus what is available in Europe. It is not worth the price tag, as Cassard says $5K cheaper and it makes more sense. As far as picking one up on the used market that may provde to be more difficult in a few years time.
 
Traction control you can disable you vaginas. There is a code you can VAGCOM it with and you can modify the traction control to be either a 2 step or completely off.

The ST is 24 700$ in the usa and 29 999$ here. How fuckin frustrating! At 24k I coul afford it. At 29k, well not really.

It's not like these cars weren't exactly the same...
 
Pour le véhicule en général j'irais pour la Golf R, pour un rapport performance prix je crois que la Focus ST est mieux, je n'aime pas la finition intérieur et le look bébelle de la focus donc VW pour moi.

? Je suis 100% normal et je prendrais une ST bien avant un R. Je ne la trouve tout simplement pas impressionnante pour son price Tag. Je ne vois pas le.rapport qualité/prix que VW ont a offrir.

Price diff brah.
50k is way too much to pay for a golf r. Can get cool stuff like 335 sti evo 5.0 stang for dat price. The ST is worth its 35k tag. ST + 15k >>> golf r.

La Golf R est listée à 39,675 $ sur vw.ca et la 335xi est listée à 53,000 $ sur BMW.ca donc pas du tout le même prix.

Not at all. Chip is ~$600...

VAGCOM is done free so long as you have a friend or know of a garage that has one. Dealer will do it for ~$40...
