Or perhaps in the entire province, is John Scotti.

His used car prices are just ridiculous. I remember trying to buy an Elise in 2008 and they just do not negotiate on price.

Now take a look at this asking price for a 1999 Porsche 911 with about 80 000kms. Priced about 30 000$ over market value. Typical of this dealer.

And I always see 91-93 NSXs selling for 50 000$ or so...

His used luxury car prices are just on another planet compared with the rest. There are some nice cars which tempt me to go make a visit, but with such ridiculously high asking prices, how can you start off reasonable negotiations?

Yeah but it just blows that he has so many of the nice used cars in Montreal...I always negotiate downwards with dealers but in this case his asking prices are just always extremely too high.

Look at the Elise SC for sale...you are forced to go through him.....sux....

yeah I agree....but in the end I'd probably still rather deal with someone who's in the business with a preference to local commerce than private sales.
Generally the fisbo's are the ones who cover up more, and can also sometimes be more over priced than dealers when emotional attachment comes into play.......

I also prefer to be able to have a guarrantie , and in most cases a certain "goodwill" if something is not right with the purchase afterwards

Les prix de ses voitures used n ont juste pas de sens..

Je me demande comment il fait pour les vendre. Pis en plus toutes les Lotus usagées sont chez eux... je suis sur qu ils les rachètent tous pour être sur d avoir le monopoles...

J ai été la cet été, j ai quand même été bien servi par Mr Durand, fait le road test d une Elise. Mais on dirait que j ai pas le gout de faire affaire avec eux... sa l air pas mal prétentieux comme service la-bas....
