Video Let's see how Tesla's gigafactory is coming along

Here is a video of a drone flyover of Tesla's gigafactory 1 in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center in Storey County, Nevada. Tesla hopes to have the factory online my late 2016 or early 2017 though construction at the site will continue until at least 2020 as the entire building is completed. The goal is to have enough production to supply 500,000 Tesla cars by 2020.

The satellite photo below shows the current construction with the planned dimensions. Can you imagine how massive this will be when completed? It will be the world's largest building in terms of ground footprint. Also keep in mind this is only the first of several gigafactories that Tesla envisions building.

Mirin' everything he does. I'm sad that the Space X Cargo launch was delayed on december 19th 2014, I was actually at Cap Canaveral visiting the Kennedy Space Center the day it was suppose to launch!

To space lovers, visiting the Kennedy Space Center is a must. It was FUCKING awesome. I actually have tons of images and footage I could upload

Getting to stand in front of James Lovell's Apollo 13 suit AND next to the real Apollo 13 service module was awesome
