But Do you think it would be worth it , of course it will be more expensive than going to napi , but you wont waste has much gas and time /towing for some. And think it would actually work ,

Ok the place is way more than 20 acres So thats fine , i need a security crew , those funny lights , what else is neccecary?, the near basics. I want to open it not to fancy , see if it works well , then ill pimp the place out

you'll never get the city authorisation to build such a thing, and to be worth it, you just cant build a shithole, you need to build it good straight from the beginning

i've looked into it a couple of years ago, and not worth it at all

the newest drag strip that has been built recently in the usa is the mopar drag city in banning, california

they built a full fledge one, that is costing over 10 millions usd and they had to deal with a very open municipal council that easilly allowed the construction of the strip, right next to the municipal airport, which is a really low density area.

and another thing, they can run it open 12 months a year, as opposed to here where you can only open 6 months a year or so. And the big question is, Is there a market for such a facility here? in terms of fanatics, yes, but is the market big enough? that's a harder question.

And then, there is all the environmental impacts research, and getting the authorisation from the municipal council which is nearly impossible in an area like montreal.

Even the track in St-eustache would be possible to build today, too close to houses, too much noise, increase traffic too much at certain period of time, increase pollution.

Just cuz you can't "Control" your car on turns to napi doesn't mean you have to open your own dragstrip
