It sucks, I get it. But it's an old beater. It happens. It's not thread worthy. Can you imagine if every member started a thread every time their $3000 car got a scratch? Idk.

I'm not offended.
You'd have to understand how I maintain my vehicles at all times. The maintenance and effort I put in it to keep them as clean and mechanically correct as I possibly can. I know I can probably buff it out and touch it up but it was the culmination of a really shitty week.

a couple of years back I found my car like this. a truck turned left and cut it open. funny thing is I was parked across from a police center. someone that works there (not a cop) saw it and told the trucker, and the trucker told him he'll go turn and come back to leave his info. guy didn't take the plate, or even what was written on the truck. obviously trucker took off.
I was so pissed, I drove the car like this for another year. I made a report. a cop told me once to have it fixed, I told him here's the report, and the name and number of the person working for the police dept that saw it happen but didn't take down the info. cop walked away.
