The Munnich Team has nicknamed it the "S3 Supercar"

I have no idea what to say.

This machine is just pure awesome.

It looks almost as though it was drawn up by Audisport as a new car to launch Audi back into the rally scene.

That or Audi built their own version of an STi haha.

I don't know much about this car aside from the following:

1. Longitudinally mounted 2.0L Turbo (Julian Godfrey Engineering-prepared motor)
2. Custom gearbox with custom diffs+subframes (Sellholm gearbox and ‘German diffs’)
3. Will be competing in the 2014 FIA Rallycross championships. If successful more will be built as it's a one off prototype for the 2014 season

If it weren't for me seeing this on Jonsibals instagram page I would have never stumbled upon it.

Rallycross cars though are far from a production car. They basically build a tube frame inside the production shell, longitudinal engine, rear mounted radiators, McPherson struts all around, etc.
