If you are looking to sell it- its the place- as most likely a US buyer with bid and you should get 30% premium.
But get prepared- good pictures- inside outside bottom side- invoices, carfax etc.

What sucks is that I made the mistake of making an insurance claim when a lady scratched my rear bumper while I was parked with her car. It was like a $250 repair to repaint it in 2000 and now my carfax shows "accident" which is a pile of garbage. How can I get this changed?

This is where good pictures of the repair and invoices from the repair go a long way to justify your claim. Otherwise, its going to affect the value.

That'll set you back a few thousand in value.

Get comprehensive documentation of the whole incident (police report, insurance claim, garage estimates, invoices, pictures of the work being done, etc...), and you can save some value.

pour un bumper? je comprend que ces un claim, mais ces pas un changement de pieces ou un re-spray au complet.

I think it's because people are paying top dollar for investment quality ITRs. With high mileage and an insurance claim, the car would not be worth close to the ~$25k US that 2 of the last 3 ITRs on BAT have gotten.

y'en avais une qui avais été stripper les 3/4 de ca vie et remonter avec des pieces de ITR non matching. et de memoir elle ces vendu quand meme chere.

ouais ces ca que je dis, elle ces vendu pour le prix que danny demande la sienne qui a sont interieur oem, qui na pas les bumper casser, le power steering absent et les autre default mentioner dans l'annonce. sont seul avantage etais le kilo, mais mettons 20 000km de track sur un char ces pas super wow non plus.

so the conundrum is yeah this is a museum piece but it shouldn't be.
Buying it at this price and then driving it is a waste of money...... damn- I wish I had wayyyyy too much money so that I could buy cars like this and just look at them and not feel bad.

Those who know me , know that I buy cars to drive the shit out of them...

1988 CRX with 325,000km when I parted it out
1998 ITR- currently part time racer- 350,000km - mostly track..lol
2010 EVO past 175,000km and still dd and track toy

1999 Civic Si track car- about 275,000km on the chassis but well flogged on the track for the past 10 years- aka the bitch- still driven to and from the track....

Keep in mind, this exact model is more than just a LW M3 with 100 miles, but I believe it was the promo car for BMW US and used to promote the CSL platform. It's a 200k USD car to the right buyer in my opinion.

Ballsy for a car like that. Also that M3 up for no reserve. It was formerly owned by a long time BMW community member.
