Our Carbon Tax is Increasing to Outrageous Levels, the PM is in Ukraine Gifting 500M

Folks, am I the only one here who is noting that while carbon taxes the the ever rising fuel pump are approximately 38-45% of taxes at the gas station depending on yow you calculate our fearless Prime Minister , has the time to gallivant off to
Ukraine and give them another 500 Million of our money. What about the people hurting badly in this country?I don't know if its just me, but everyday , I feel its getting harder to maintain a normal standard of living.

Oh and BTW , we may (read:will) see a further increase in the carbon tax in 2023. I feel that we are paying more at the pump just to give Ukraine and endless supply of equipment and money and 700 000 visas
( up till now by Christmas it will be a million applications). Already 250 000 have landed, lord knows how many are from the neo nazi Azov batallion. I feel like our trust fund prime minister doesn't care how much we are hurting, nor our poor.
Enough with pump extortion from a govt. who does not care at all. /rant.


EDIT: Why is Trudeau more worried about Ukraine flooding rather than Quebec wild fires or Alberta fires or Maritime province wild fires ?

But this is what the people want, unfortunately. When you look at the distribution of votes, something like 65% of Canadians are voting for Green, NDP and Liberals. That means that 65% of Canadians look at Trudeau and either agree with his actions, or think he should do even "more" to save us all from global warming white racist misogynistic patriarch business people.

Oh and forgive him for not being concerned with monetary policy while singlehandedly increasing federal debt by nearly 50% since coming in power in 2015, which obviously has not contributed to inflation through an increase in money supply. No.

We are truly, truly fucked.
 
I know he’s a spoiled rich kid since day one but it just hurts that I paid 1.74 at the pump come back home and this dumb mother is in Ukraine giving away 500 million.

It is shameful shameful that Canadian Forces soldiers stationed in Latvia have to buy their own bullet proof helmets while idiot gives away our money.

Here is the scary thought. Even if CPC wins a minority it’s Trudeau that will be asked if he could form a stable gov. It will be an LPC NDP coalition with Trudeau as PM and some NDP ministers

It’s my partial hope that as Pierre Polievre speaks good French maybe the Québécois will vote for him . This mother fucker has to go and gas prices need to come down

He’s perfectly fluent in French and fyi Quebec was one of the first places in Canada to have a carbon tax that isn’t going away.

As I said CPC is aimed towards a minority but a Trudeau/NDP would likely form the gov.

Instead of blaming everything on Carbon tax look at the record profits Oil companies are making or get an EV

That being said a shitty base model Model 3
Is 55 000 cash. It hurts to pay so much and get so little back .
 
Model 3 LR qualifies for full 12k rebate and comes in around that. Maybe a bit less. Base M 3 is mid 40s. Both are a pretty solid package.. I had a write up about the Polestar 2 but I find it’s overpriced for what you get.

Yes i agree it’s a bit ironic spending 900$ a month to save 300-400$ month in gas but the math sorta works out.

Mes sentiments sonts pour souligner que on a des taxe excessif sur les carburants tandis que
Monsieur Trudeau fait la virtue signalisation et endette nos enfants.
