The DMCC season was officially kicked off this past weekend at the Autodrome St-Eustache. It was an event like no other where instead of a traditional drift event the winner of each tandem battle would win cash on the spot.To make it even more interesting both Pro drivers and Pro Am drivers were mixed to make the show even more exciting.
Mats Baribeau was on fire all weekend but sadly during the tandem battles he suffered a mechanical issue that took out his chances of taking home the top prize.
An other driver that has really stepped up his game is Pro Am driver Francis Tassé. He too was killing it and putting on a great show for the fans and even tho he lost a fight with the wall he still managed a 2nd place finish.
Claude Poirier in his 350z vert and Dominic Desrosiers in his new Soarer battle it out.. Claude had to retire when he started having problems with his car while Dom went on to claim 3rd place.
It was Jeff Laflamme's first event as a DMCC Pro driver and he sure did not disappoint. Not only did he get the top qualifying spot but he also took the overall win. He is one to watch this season.
