This past labour day weekend was a special weekend for DMCC. It was a Canada VS the USA event where drivers from the XDC series in the states came to battle it out against our drivers. Weather was not looking to good for the weekend but it actually turned out not too bad with only a few showers. The event itself was great with both Pro and Pro Am action with the top two Pro Am drivers being able to compete with the Pros to have one huge final match up. When all the tire smoke settle it was American Miro that took the top spot with Marc Landreville in second and XDC star Nate Hamilton who came all the way from Texas in 3rd.

Marc was on fire all weekend..rain or dry he was killing it.

Pat Cyr had some back luck happen when his brand new engine decided to stop working after 3 runs.

Marc Andre Claude not only won the Pro am comp but made it all the way to 4th place with the Pro's..he was very impressive all weekend.

The other Pro am driver that competed with the Pros was Eric Warnet in his mustang but engine problems pretty much took him out but was awarded with the trophy for the fastest entry speed.

sorry that im noob but why does every drift car has to look bad / ugly? If i remember well, on youtube , japanese drifters has nice looking cars.

Look at the prizes in quebec.. 7000$ for an event winning first place?? good looking cars are pretty much people with some cash in real life or big sponsors... you cant even afford a turbo setup at this price!

the only show i saw some rivalry in term of prizes was Cash Cab (Taxi Payant). the other shows are always 1/10 of theamerican prizes. so ridiculous.

lol....the 7500$ was a one time thing for this special event....1st place is usually 3000$

I usually follow the MX scene in quebec which is bigger than that IMO and after looking at the prize for the first place.. i should have known there was a one shot deal in that hahaha ;)
