Post your watch collection

I paid mine $950 plus shipping and $35 import charge. Couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else unless you are looking for a different color. There are 13 different colors/models, some more exclusive/rare. https://www.g-central.com/casio-g-shock-gpw-1000-gravitymaster-all-models/ The least expensive edition is the original one. The GPW-1000 1ACR and you can find it for $525 USD http://www.jomashop.com/casio-watch-gpw-1000-1acr.html But I have to warn you, it's HUGE and heavy, 66mm x 56mm and 18.8mm thick. If you work with long sleeve shirts, you cannot wear this watch. I thought I could pull it off but no! It dwarf my Casio Mudman in every aspect.

If you want a similar watch with almost the same features, take a look at the Gravity Defier GWA1100-1A3 here http://www.gmtminusfive.com/a-review-of-the-casio-g-shock-gravity-defier-gwa1100-1a3/ It have the same tough movement but no saphire glass, no GPS sync, no carbon fiber band but you get the compass that the Gravity Master doesn't have. $593 on Amazon

I didnt it was that high in terms of price! It looks great!

Iceturbo those pics don't work. is that an original Seiko Orange Monster? One of my favourite watches of all time in fact!

What do you guys think of the Tissot Seastar 1000? I'm trying to sell my Oris Aquis 36mm (wears a bit small) so I can get the Tissot.

J'hésite entre une Batman ou une Hulk. La logique voudrait que ce soit une Batman (j'ai déjà une Submariner Date SS) mais j'ai quand même un faible pour la Hulk.

What did you pay bobby for ur sub no date?
I want to buy th get batman.. soon soon
Just bought a airwolf last week so I'll try to stop buying for a little bit

Sorry didn't see your post before, $6.6k, but that was almost 2 years ago. They seem to go for closer to $7.5k now in like new condition lately on canwatchco.

Can't go wrong with either. I couldn't live without glidelock personally, and would pick the Hulk despite already owning an 114060.

chance. Ça regarde mal.

They sell over list in the US, so indeed good luck... It's not going to be an easy watch to get !

Try and call an authorized dealer in the smallest city . Calgary has one . Montreal Toronto or Vancouver they get snatched up or saved for big clients . Smaller cities will have less big clients so you might and this is a huge might get lucky

I will do this. Thanks

Va la voir avec une personne qui connais bien les rolex. Il y a des fake de plus en plus difficile à spotter.

so what we have here is a real 14060. The box is incorrect for the year but is a real box from a 2005+ model. So basically at some time in it's life this was sold to a dealer just the watch and he put it in whatever was lying around. Doesn't seem to be overpolished , the bracelet links have a little stretch in them but for the year it's about what you would expect , the back sticker is still in place and while it's worn its correct so that's good, on the flip side it's probably never been serviced either. Servicing is about 700$ for a basic service at rolex Toronto headquarters or you can have it done by somebody good in the city for about 400$ gaskets, oils etc. As far as price goes it's on the higher end of market price. If this is specifically the model you want (a no date 2 Liner submariner) then it's not a bad choice at all. At 7500$ you can get a newer ceramic bezel submariner . Personally I like the look of the older one

Thanks for your input! I like how you can tell if it's a real or fake just with these pics. I'm actually looking for a blue submariner. I'd let you know if I find one so you can tell me if it's real or fake ha

You should shop on the CWC forum. You will find better deals. Box is not the original one by the way.
What's CWC? Here's what i found lol

What you see in the pictures also may not be the watch when you get there lol... but if you're looking for a blue face submariner those only come with the date and with gold either 2tone or full gold . As far as collectibility goes 2tones aren't something that's very desirable . All stainless subs will hold their value better . That all said a nice 2 tone you can get in the 8grand range or about

You obviously know quite a bit about the used Rolex market, what do you think about a Milgauss 116400GV as long term purchase?

Will it hold its value if i ever need to sell it some day, does it have any chance to appreciate and s it a somewhat desirable watch?

The milgauss is a beautiful watch . But it's a love hate . It's very desirable to some and to some not at all. It's almost unrolexi of them to make it . Lightning bolt is a little childish . Your market to sell is smaller . When your average Rolex buyer says I'm buying a Rolex , he wants something that in his mind is a Rolex . Submariner , datejust

Will it gain in value.. I think so . Usually and I'm not a psychic but looking at what tends to be desirable are things that are not loved by some or didn't sell in big numbers .

I'd only buy the gv green crystal with the blue face and with complete box and papers being that it's a quirky watch . If bought used at the right price you won't lose any money .

Hey guys,

We have an employee who just hit the 10 year working for us.

We want to buy him a watch. We have 200-300$ budget.
He is 30 years old and drives a Harley (if it can help you with what kind of person he is).
What would be a good choice?

Thanks
