Good question! I honestly think even with the rebate factored in, you still end up losing as the resale value of pretty much any EV these days drops like a rock because people are afraid of owning one out of warranty. Are we calculating depreciation off msrp or after rebate? Teslas got mostly hosed by price cuts. The Taycans etc just suffer from luxo barge problems
Whats funny is if there is a major repair on an ice car like a engine it won’t be 1500$… there is this paranoia around battery replacement thats floating around it needs replacing at 4 years… Used packs are becoming a thing or repairGood question! Meanwhile Battery Packs and Drive motors are warranted for 8years/160k at minimum. The caveat is parts availability and having the correct servicing done when needed…. Bad is considered 70% of original useable capacity but there is always some capacity that can be “unlocked” as was explained at a BMW training courseYea exactly it won't be cheap if something does go wrong like a dead cell in the battery or if the drive unit fails. Agreed that you can fix the problems like replacing individual cells using one from a crashed car but I'm sure the manufactures will find a way to limit that or even end it in some BS fashion. I mean RichRebuilds has shown multiple times that you can repair EVs but like I said I'm sure the manufactures want to end that some way
BC is literally last place left
Ca sort d'ou ce graphique?
BC credit will not be enough to move significant volume as it's scaling down based on your income and MSRP need to be below 50K$.
Some manufacturers are already pressing the panic button, Nissan are now leasing 2025 Ariya Engage at 399$ +tx monthly 0$ down.
I'm sorry but I call BS on the depreciation cost for the lighting, EV have a proven track record of terrible resell value
It was gone off Tesla site on Saturday Am. The program was funded until the next budget but no way of passing a top up.
