Reprogram Polar Start remote

Hi,
I have a Polar Start remote starter in my car and I had to change the battery last week and therefore I lost communication between the remote and the system. Does anybody know how to reprogram the remote ? I have tried turning the keys 5 times on/off and getting the lights flashing and then pressing unlock and lock on the remote with no success.

Any help would be appreciated!

If the hood pin is not working or not hooked up (do the parklights turn on, then off when you open the hood?) , you have to simulate the hood pin using the grey wire on the module's 5 pin connector.

Thanks for the help, no the lights don't turn on when I open the hood. And I just realized my Mfa screen doesn't even tell me when the hood is open either, might be my problem
