I fucking love Grand Cherokees; I would have one if it weren't for the gas... My best friend is running a 4'' Iron Rock kit on his 99 and has little complaints apart from the dreaded death wobble now and then. Looks a lot like this :

He's still contemplating between 33s and 31s because of some potential transmission problems? I think they are uncommon but he (understandably) doesn't want to have to rebuild the tranny a second time.

fwiw most of those Socal Custom trucks couldn't survive a day offroading!

Why build an off road econoline? Arn't they all 2wd?

With the GEVs I don't see the point of building a fast car anymore, it will only get me in trouble...a mild off road machine may be my next project.
