Hello all,
I have a shower with black slate tiles that I would like to reseal. I know for a fact that the tiles have not been sealed in atleast 5 years.
Does anyone here have a shower that uses natural stone and has already gone through the process? There are an awful lot of products and reviews are all over the place making me usure which route to go.
I have attached a picture of the shower along with a picture of what seems to be soap scum/ hard water stains from a shampoo bottle. Those stains have been there since I moved in and i have never been able to remove them with any traditional cleaning products. I would 100% want to remove those stains prior to resealing the tile..other than that the general condition of the tiles are decent.
I was planning on using the PROFIX product line which is sold at Patrick Morin and completely strip whatever is left of the old sealer(if any) and start from scratch. I emailed them to find out if their stripper(NU ZONE) would remove those stains but no response back.
