It’s practically a free car at those lease prices. Around 70$ month cheaper than what I am paying. I drive it more than the Mini but the Mini is a better car

I mean you really can’t compare an econobox Fiat to a Model S

A large factor of the 500e being in my driveway is that its Italian and a bit odd.

I just mean that I have to like the car before I look at what it uses as propulsion

I like the model S


I was looking at the fiat for my entertainment and education lol, everything is great at this price point, but I found the roof line poorly designed (coming down towards the door too much, before the door starts, so you tend to hit your head getting out if you're tall)

I find the driving position too high on the Fiat. You are towering over people and can look down inside cars. The App is very wonky on good days!

However it’s been good so far in the cold and its hilarious to drive. There aren’t many stange EVs here and i have both of them !

So basically pretty poor.
If you want to use battery betwren 20% and 80% for long life, you donn’t even get 200km in winter.

i still believe tesla has a better product

I did Mach E Extended Range in similar conditions down to 0% and was 303km. Roughly same battery size.

Nobody is really leaving on a roadtrip at 80% I hope and charging at 20% lots of that 20-80% stuff is over complicating life. Road trip I be arriving at Low SOC and those road trips really have no bearing on battery health unless you are doing it 5x a day maybe.

For me it was the rapid and sudden derate in power. I wouldn’t want it under 10% Lowest summer arrival I did was 14%

Also lack of any battery preconditioning on these big battery SUVs is absurd. They should have manual preconditioning and allowing it to 5% SOC.

I m surprised ev car don’t have a reserve as in even if you reach 0% you should still be able to drive 20-30km to reach a recharge station

Many ICE cars, especially toyota/lexus you can drive down to 0 km range and still have 3-5 liters in the tank, it s a protection to ensure ppl dontget atranded on aaide of road

Tesla drives a good 10+kms at 0% soc.
That being said, gas or electric, driving on a low gas/low soc is just plain stupid. Inb4 « j’étais mal pris ».

Model Y LR was always at 300-330kms for me in winter, similar temps as now -8c to -12c
