Thermal repaste in Laval/Montreal or Ottawa

Hi Lads.
I'm looking for a good place to thermal repaste my CPU on my laptop. Some place that would stock some Coollaboratory paste as the thing overheats like a bitch running low OC (4930mx). I really think it wasn't pasted properly the first time, but I'm not confident enough to take apart a 8k$ laptop lol...

Any place around montreal or ottawa would be nice.

Thanks !

its a laptop, its meant to overheat, joke aside, you sure its not a ventilation problem?

Yeah, it's not even a year old and I took it apart that far, enough to see there's no dust or anything inside... it's a as clean as when I got it.

At 3.9GHz I run in the 70 degrees steadily, and that's without the fans running at all, so there's clearly an issue with the thermal paste. At 4.3ghz i'm nearly at 100 with the fans at full blast. And it's sitting on a desk always, without anything blocking the fans or the flow of air...

3.9ghz @ 70°c on a laptop. Nothing to see here.

It's a laptop, not a desktop. + with an i7 4c/8t.

Wow, the retardation level in the computer section of the forum is beyond even MR stadards. Can anyone of you trolls just STFU or otherwise just give me a good place? How hard is that...
My word

You looks like to be the troll here. But i'll still give you more about it.

A desktop with a 4.3ghz i7 on the stock cooler ( wich is better than a LAPtop one mostly because it have much more room to breath ) would already pretty much max out the cooling capacity of the cooler.

You can go and replace your thermal paste if you want but it's a waste of time and money. It's a laptop, they are build to run stock with OK temp, they can OC a little bit but you wont, never, EVER reach any desktop like clocks on a laptop.

I appreciate your advice, but that's my whole point, I didn't ask for advice. I asked for a place, in the montreal area, to repaste my CPU. Simple as that.

And here is my whole point.

If someone ask me where to jump of a bridge, i'll advice him not to do it instead of pointing him toward the bridge.

8k laptop without a decent cooling system?

Someone's like being raped

Lol @ repasting

... and lol @ finding a place. You'll end up in any computer shop with junior IT techs playing in your 8k toaster

Je viens de me builder un Alienware et un MacBook Pro top of the line avec toutes les options matérielles et j'arrive à 5000 tomates chacun.

OP needs a rape kit

quand je pense que à 5000$, j'aurais une criss de meilleure machine qu'un alienware....avec une vrai carte RAID SAS dedans qui a une batterie cache dessus
