Toyota has officially unveiled its 2014 4Runner featuring rugged exterior styling to match its authentic off-road heritage.
Currently in its fifth-generation, the Japanese automaker has updated its 4Runner SUV with a rugged new exterior design that’s big and bold while further refining the interior with added comfort and convenience. The 2014 4Runner will be available in three models: SR5, Limited, and Trail for those who want maximum off-road capacity. Optional third-row seating is available for the SR5 and Limited models and buyers will have a choice of rear wheel 4×2, part-time 4×4, or a full-time multi-mode 4×4 with a locking center differential.

For the 2014 model year, Toyota gave its 4Runner a refreshed front end with a muscular front grille, edgier-smoked headlights while the SR5 and Trail models have a color-matched grille insert and a front bumper surrounded by fog lights set in sharply cut inlays. The Trail grade will also have color-matched bumpers and over fenders and is distinguished by its hood scoop and silver-painted front and rear bumper accents.
This is a weird looking vehicle but I think they still pull it off.

At least it is manly, as opposed to every other truck on the road that looks like an egg on wheels, driven by 35-45 years old, sexually frustrated moms with ray-ban knock-offs and carrying a single kid in the back, trolling the left lane while texting about specials at Sephora.

It's a truck. It's big, ugly, bricked out, and isn't afraid to work hard, or at least looks like it.

Toyota is the last company I expected to design a truck that looks like one. The kind of ugly ass truck your wife wouldn't want to buy and drive all the time because "it makes her feel more secure" to compensate for her shitty and dangerous driving.

This will look manly and rugged as fuuuuu in black with fender flares, lift kit and 40's!!!!

I think the 4 runners went down after the 3rd generation (I currently own a 3rd generation 4runner), the 2nd and 3rd gens are notorious for its durability and off roading capabilities (especially the 22Rs were bulletproof)

ca boit mais c'est fiable.

c'est quand meme leur talon d'achilles la consommation sur le taco, tundra, 4 runner...

Well, at least it doesn't look lie yet another boring toyota generic design, i.e corolla, camry, avalon, allthesamebullshit lineup.
