Got some questions for you Subaru guru.
The undisputed tuner of choice is the Accessport, no doubt. However what happens when you install more than basic bolt ons? Aka aside from intake and catback.
You'll need a protune obviously and as I'm aware Cobb offers this service to be installed on their AP.
However, who in(or near) the island of montreal can do protunes for Subaru's?
All I know of are Lachute, who are trying to charge an arm and a leg for a protune.
Does Lacroix or swap shop offer tunes for Subarus?
Is there an alternative to purchasing an accessport? Can they flash the ECU permanently rather than saving it on the AP? And if this is the case if you need to go back to get another tune for whatever reason, will they still charge you full price?
My cousin is in desperate need of a tune on his car and is looking for a reliable tune by a well known Subaru tuner.
The AP doesn't serve a purpose to him aside from gauges because his car is already swapped so there will be no need for dealer purposes and he has major components installed(upgraded turbo, tbe) so he can't just decide to untune (without a lot of work) the car so he's looking to avoid having to get an AP to save money. Or is this a worth while investment.
I would post this on MSC but I have like 2 posts there, don't pay the 35$ and will be yelled at to search and atm I'm too lazy haha.
