UK Blocks Online Porn (unless the ISP is told by customer they want to receive it)

Not necessarily a bad thing however the slippery slope argument applies and in spades.

I think that it should be filtered at the home level and not be something big corp should be involved in. I realise there are children on the internet, however it should be up to me to either activate filtering on my end, or to contact the ISP to filter on theirs. I don't think I should have to request what parts of the internet are sent to my network by default.
 
I like how those people thinking that all bad things exist because of the internet and by controlling what's on the internet will change everything. Guess none of those Gov. morons remember porn on VCR, pedo crap pictures and videos, current movie sharing on VCR, file sharing on floppy, music sharing on cassette and terrorists sending letters or videos to tv stations to announce that they were responsible for an attack. That's all before the Internet was offered by any company for civilians. It's like the world is going retarded and they think that there is a miracle cure for all evil by controlling the internet.

They can't stop spammers, scammers and other idiots online, but they want to make sure little Timmy will not see a penis online before he turn 18, meanwhile he see one after another at the public pool changing room/shower and get molested by disturbed people while not even online. These are the same people let a certain race/religion person get on a plane with a knife and not search him because that would be profiling, but they strip search and fondle their own people, including little Timmy, in the name of security.
 
They should make it that we can enable/disable porn from the isp website using some type of login.

That i wouldn't care but making people call to say hey my name is this that , i live at .... , my birth date is .... , ya so could u enable porn for me , already that's an awkward situation for the customer but what happens when the old fashion wife calls and wonders hey how come my kids can access porn , well mam your husband called last week and enabled it .

Next thing you know the hubby gets in trouble , tension rise between the couple , divorce follows , timmy gets depressed so acts out the divorce by doing drugs and skips school. Dad has to move into a shity 3 1/2 cause the women took half his shit and now he's fkcin depressed.

All that could of been avoided if the father could of secretly fap to his fav bondage porn.

I think Joy should mind her fucking business and let me manage my own Internet thank you very much. I don't find most porn offensive but her facial expression offends me to the core of my humanity.
