More likely, this will only bring much more casualties / destruction and Ukraine is running out fast of souls to send to fight the war. I understand Ukraine needs to defend itself, Russia clearly is not backing down either and I fear will go as long they need to, some agreement needs to be reached at some point somewhere before there is little left of Ukraine...

Ukraine has suspended consular services Those men will just become stateless refugees. You also dont want to draft too old or too young. Its an iffy situation for Ukraine but also the nations those men are in. Will Canada send anyone back? Prob not but EU states bordering Ukraine might but maybe only those not registered properly or similar procedural issues
