Ma blonde vient de réservé une VF8 en location, le prix est complètement débile avec les rabais gouvernementaux, ca revient a 480$tx in en location avec 1700 de downpayment, avec protection de 7500$ pour l'usure et le gros modèle pas la éco.

La conduite est vraiment bien et rapport équipements prix et look, c'est imbatable.

Ive logged lots of KM in VF8. The driving position is very awkward and while the software has got much better you still need to carry around a 10mm wrench to reset the car once a week. The driving aids are above average, cargo space is great and rear comfort. My father in law has a VF8 Eco, leased for lulz because it was so cheap. 7000km total and 4500km were driven by me

The lease deals cannot be beat for value/money ratio. I suspect the VF9 will be lease dumped as well as that 80k market place is extremely saturated. I’d rather get an EV9, better tech, 800v architecture and properly fast charging speeds with excellent thermal management. Vinfast needs a better sound system and powerliftgate on the ECO. Its still base 55k…

My sister in laws VF8 has been in twice for rear suspension work and both times they gave her a BZ4X as a loaner.. which is actually worse according to her (i think its an okayish EV)

Depends on what panel you have at home and how much extra capacity you have. Whatever you do go hardwired from the start. We did an Autel at my father in law (got it for free thanks Autel) on a 40amp breaker so 32amp set on the Evse or 7.2kw roughly. The Vinfast unit is a rebranded Autel unit

At my house I have full 60amp 11kw

Rates were better a few months ago zero down it was around 490$ mo tax in. Its 478$ mo tax in zero down for 48 months 20k a year.

Put this into perspective of value. My Fiat 500e is 359$ month tax in with excess damage and I put 2500$ down

Genre tu perd ton char un mois, il te donne un crédit de quelques milliers de $$.

All the HV stuff is chinese including the battery. Switch gear is GM/BMW.

Pedal tuning is still by far the worst of any EV Ive driven and still has not been improved. There is also still a latency issue between pedal and motor engagement

Vous pensez quoi de la mustang mach-e ? Vinfast nous a appelé et les taux d'intêrets ont montés a 3% (car ils ont pu de 2024, donc modèle 2025 qui s'en vient dans le bateau) et seulement le modèle performance est dispo. Le paiement monte de 100$ en location, soit 580$, donc pu vraiment un deal pour une auto avec des flaws ( nous avons eu le motion sickness durant l'essaie et le pare-brise est flou du coté gauche a cause du heads up display probablement).

Mach E is a Better product and can be charged at select superchargers. Id rank ride quality about the same. Iirc at that price the Mach E will likely be RWD only

Also I feel much of the “motion” sickness people experience with EVs is from the almost complete lack NVH and being aggressive on the regen. You aren’t the first one to mention it. Our niece suffers from it in general and its worse in the VF8 or in our Mini
