Which one: GSXR1000 vs ZX10R?

So this winter I’m thinking about buying another bike.

Which one do you guys like and what are the cons to each… I know the pros, but I want to hear the cons.

Here are the bikes

2005-2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000

Personally, I’m leaning towards the Gixxer for ease of use, looks and performance.

I want to know how the reliability & cost of ownership of these bikes are?

I ride kind of hard and put about 10k-12k kms a season.

I would be picking up the bike from the states with a maximum of 15k miles… MAX!

Color is not a problem, ideally I would want it in full gloss black or I would get it painted myself.




So tell me, what would you guys choose and the cons to each if you know any.

Gixxer for liability, performance, everything else. It kills the Kawi.

perso je prenderai la Kawa pour le look, sinon les r1 07-08 je les trouvent belles aussi,

a mon avis prends juste celle qui te plait. point ^^

zx-10r = tank !

suzuki sa coche aussi jnai deja chauffer un sur 200 km...

mais jai prefere le zx-10r ! me semble un tit peu plus leger kan jlai chauffer... !

Peut-etre a cause de la répartition du poids mais en théorie le Zuki est plus léger.

gsx -r for sure, look, perfo, more agressive a real raçer, i have a srad and still love it
