Everyone laughs at me but on my Wife's E91 I removed the run flats (got a flat first week I had it from a huge pothole) and found a mint set of facelift 16" non runflat and I run 16" summer and...

I have a shark injector I bought years ago, guy swears up and down it was never used (can only be used on one car).

I don't have access to a lift right now so I put a big ground wire between a chassis ground and one of the big bolts on the alternator...

I checked at the dealer and the battery was last changed in 2013 so time for a battery,

I ended up buying one...

I only had a problem when it was -22 or whatever...and I was able to boost from a car, not a booster pack

Otherwise it has been fine but I may do a battery, I usually do an original BMW battery as...

My trusty E46 always starts and cranks fast...

My E91 328 always cranks slowly and the really cold days no go. I have tried booster packs with no luck, did manage boosting with cables from my E46...

LOL only a BMW forum would tell someone to buy a Lexus or Audi for reliablity...

But in the case of a 335 I kind of agree.

I would strip it out, put a hitch on your other E39 and tow it to the track.

That way you don't have to deal with the insurance and plates, not to mention hassle of driving a stripped out car on...

For a wagon it is easy, E46 is 325 only, RWD or AWD

For the E9x it is 328 AWD only.

He is not trying to change to euro settings etc, he is doing a retrofit.
