THe guy was selling 2 x 128PC133. I asked him if they were tested, and he replied that they came out of a working system.
Met up with him, the exchange/price were both good. I get home, the machine starts having problems. I run some diagnostics on the parts, 1 chip is good, the other fails the tests.
I PM him to explain that 1 part is no good and "what can we do about this?"
His reply back was that it's not possible for it to be defective - that he's never heard of memory chips being bad. (THe whole reason I bought this memory was because a customer had a piece of defective ram). I try to PM him back, and now MR.com tells me that the person is not accepting private PM's. THis is the only place for me to get in touch with him.
