Wiper Linkage e36

Will the wiper linkage from a M3 fit in a e36 4 door? :dunno:

The part numbers are different on the online ETK but someone may have tried this replacement.

Has anyone replaced it with the www.Altrom.com equivalent? :bigup:


My passenger side wiper is getting wonky *banghead*

The cast part that holds the passenger side pivot was snapped clean off. I replaced the linkage with the www.altrom.com replacement. Part was exactly the OEM (Bosch) just numbered differently and much less than the dealer price.

Difficult area to work due to lack of access. A good 2 hour job without complications such as corroded nuts on the pivots. I had to spend time drilling and grinding the material to loosen the nuts because no new nuts are supplied with the linkage.



The M3 is physically different from the 4dr model. Therefore I didn't try to swap.

BTW I just got a 1998 M3, damn BMW are fun to drive!

The exhaust is a dream, sounds really nice and is quite stealthy under the car. I have noticed a slight boost in power since the change.
