This morning....going to work, my speaker started to get the engine noise in them....

It's on a Fiero GT 86 with the subwoofer option.

Could it be just bad sparkplug wire? or problem with alternator?

What esle...cause this noise wasn't there before!

Maybe the noise reducer (I don't know the exact word) it's a special part that takes care ot the engine noise and it'S supposed to be right beside your coil. Or it could be a bad ground on your amp, or a used wire somere that has a big resistence.

NO, it's not this, the frequency vary with the engine RPM....

I start to think that it could be my ignition coil....

The other day, I was driving...and it had a weird hesitation and I have seen the RPM flutuate..then it went away...but when it did that..the noise in the speaker was louder...

So my guess is that the bad coil or ignition wire is causing that noise in the speaker!

well one of my friend and the same problem in is toyota paseo

anyway .

he told me it was because is ground wire on is radio

let me know he was just to lazy to fix it so i dont really know but check it out
