my sister has an altima and I'm looking for the torque for the lugnuts so that I can change her wheels properly.

Just tighten them alot. lol You think the guys at garages torque every lug nut they put on?

dude I have a torque wrench for a reason and overtightening lugs can either damage the wheel or the discs. I bet you didn't know that.

Factory wrenches couldn't take off a bolt tightened at 5lbs, everyone needs to buy a cross wrench. And I doubt you could damage the mags or the discs by hand tightening bolts.

you could be surprised how easily things can get dammaged on a car. So tomorrow i'm gonna call up the stealershit since you guys can't answer me. thanks.

Now that I'm home, I checked my Tire Guide book that I got from a friend who sells tires. For most Nissan cars, including the Altima, it shows 72 to 87ft/lbs.
