Post your dream set up engin wise :D

etc etc etc

Thanks

Already completed most of that. Changing my internals over winter and strapping on a bigger turbo. I'll let you know then! :D

So what intenals ? what kind of turbo
I need Idears for this spring

I would probably go with something like this:

-Cosworth Block + internals
-GT35R Turbo setup + Perrin Front mount + Tial 44mm external wastegate
-Probably custom pink injectors
-Cobb Protune ECU
-Tein Flex Coilovers :)()
-exhaust would be custom

for me id go with something very kicky with no lag:

JDM V9 spec c with s204 mapping,
nismo injectors,
custom exhaust
unequal lenght headers to get the scooby sound back
DCCD controller with the 6 speed
JDM v9 suspenion with the pink sti springs
this list could go on forever
dump it into a GC!

Cosworth Block do they doo 2.8L :D

with a lot of years in the tuning community,i think i have the answer

Canadian Tire injectors
custom justy 4wd tranny
subaru forester ECU
Cosworth block with spoon internals
and finally some good Motomaster all season

don't hate! i know how to tune very well...im thinking about opening myself a Tune shop!!

lol ca devrait sortir 600WHP ton set up

An STi can take just around 400whp on the stock internals before it starts to unravel. At that point, you need forged internals and a new block to take more power safely. At these power levels, you WILL need a new clutch.

Although, you can get away with 390-395whp with no problems, and full drivability. 400whp is where the headaches and drivability issues start up.

keep on going :D your doing good

well motor and tranny wise thats just about all i'd do, the car will be very fast and reliable for an everyday diver. For inside, some nice jdm s203 seats and whiteline for the all suspension goodies...

marty! your going to kill the beauty of an STi...please, dont over do it.... keep it humble...

like marty, im pretty much complete aswell.... (in STi parts :))

all that is left will be done over the winter to spring,

LEFT to BUY:

-gt35r turbo (internals already forged, no worries :))
-custom front mount intercooler
-Front lip
-mags/tires
-Retune.

LEFT to INSTALL:

Paint & install my JDM STi
-front fenders
-bumper
-light front bumper beam
-hood scoop
-gold brembos
-springs/struts
-sway bars
-rear diff
-HID lights
  my garage is F***ING OWNED WITH PARTS!:run: :run:

...and the undercover STi concept goes out the window.

next summer will be insain.....

Looks pretty good I hope I whon't have trouble selling my S4 2004 in the spring

- question what's the difference in term in engin for JDM engin and US model -does US 2006 STI comes with HID ?
-an the last one do you guys think a GT40 is too big for 2.5L ;)

any of you guys have JE or CP pistons ???

The JDM STi engines are traditionally 2.0L, whereas the first STi to hit North America came with the 2.5L. The JDM 2.0L Spec C engine has better internals than the 2.5L and can take more b00st before problems, though I'd imagine the 2.5L will always make more torque than the 2.0L.

2006 STi comes with HID from the factory, yes.

And yes again, personally, I think a GT40 is too much for the lil' 2.5L, unless you like waiting 3 seconds for the turbo to spool. But like people have been saying, there are stroker kits that can bring you from 2.6L all the way to 2.8L, and a 2.8L Crawford block can definitely flow a GT40!!

Can't speak for the others, but I've been looking at Mahle pistons.
