So my good pal Kia and I decided to make the engine bay look a little more "unique". Installed the DV last week, but the cover did not fit and Vince told me there is not point in having a fancy DV if you cover it up.

We did some cutting and cleaning, and added a little texture.

I dunno, its just a valve and it seems to be doing its job!

yeah, im not too worried about the colour, it can be repainted...

I would have made the cut a little more subtle but other than that looks cool *tu*

I know... we noticed that after we cut it! lol

Its ok, my car isnt a show car, and I dont plan on opening the hood at meets anyway... its all stock!

I like it a lot pri looks ****in badass and quite original !!

Maybe I would have left the battery cover and airbox in black thought, just so it makes the engine cover stick out more and it would look less busy.

but I still like what's been done *tu*

as someone said on vortex, i wish they had a cover for the coolant and windshield washer resevoir to tie it all together!

but i have something in mind that i want to do after H2O (or maybe before)

its even better when he got to sit around and watch me do everything lol
i cleaned the whole engine area tooooo

man it looks fkn clean now!
