heres how mine sits today (changed hands a couple of times since I owned it)

And now it sits in my yard, very much unchanged from this pic.

It is now, along with a Viggen, my parts car for this.

2007:

And some from 2008. Some new springs that made it look a little high.

And on the Dyno at Saab Owner's Convention in Boston.

250whp and 300wtq, but it was 42 degrees out.

Just got some pistons and cams in the mail this week.

Will be soon looking for the rest of the parts for the rebuild.

Chris, when am I going to get a ride in that thing?

Well I'm getting an engine rebuild soon. Don't know if I'm getting the B204 or B234 done as the JE pistons will fit either one.

Both engines are seeing crazy power by GenuineSaab. We both know it's not the HP that kills the trannies, but the tg....

I'm also debating a full respray possibly in another color for spring 2010.

All of this depends on if I don't buy a Sedan to go crazy with.

The hatches are my fave but nobody has gone higher than a stg3 in the 4doors.

All this to say that the car might be on the road again this spring but don't know with what under the hood.

I'm still looking for a Quaife too.....

Hey Alex, thanks for poluting my thread!! :p

Troll speed, what the hell is up with those springs??? that car was so nice in 07, what did you do?

It was soooo low it hurt to drive it. Scraped everywhere. 18's made the ride bumpy too.

So I tried using Viggen springs. My car is a 900 and the perches are different causing the car to ride at least stock height if not higher.

On a 9-3, these springs would lower the car since Viggen's are lowered from the factory.

The Viggen springs are still stiffer than stock though.

I have Nick's springs to try next, or I might go back to the Vogtlands from '07 now that I'm not using 18's anymore.

I want to try air-ride in the future too...

Air ride is nice for the ride adjustability but not performance wise, not the kits available to public.

I can't put a face on you it's really bugging me. We'll have to do a saab meet!

Come to the Ottawa Club meet tomorrow. 'Arrow and Loon' corner Bank and 5th.

Or go visit Shane and look at my Saabs from his balcony.

Well whatever you do, get it LOWAR!! :p

what's this meet? It's in Ottawa or Mtl??

Saab Club of Ottawa meets in Ottawa at the Arrow and Loon (Bank & 5th)

scoo_list : Saab Club of Ottawa
Saab Club of Ottawa - Home

We meet today.

Not exclusive to Saabs though.

The Webmaster has 2 BMW's.

And there was someone with a Volvo for a while. I'm going in my RAV4 until my 900 is back on the road.

If more aficionados show interest, we have already agreed we could change it from Saab's to something broader.

Swedish Car Club of Ottawa or even Euro car club, but I digress....

Wired for demo.

From Saab Owner's Convention 2007, Detroit.
