Quebec laws on restocking fees???

Does anyone know if it is legal for a company to charge you a restocking fee for returning an item within 14 days?

I know that Futureshop and Best Buy do not?

There is absolutely no laws for this kind of return policy. It is legal to charge restocking fees.

It is always the store that decide about every point of the return politics, like return or not, refund or not, the kind of return, exchange or not, restocking fees, the delays you have to return your item, etc.

Also, lot of stores dont match the others stores policy return.

But the store has to follow his proper return policy, or customer can complain to the OPC.

Please, before buying, always ask about the return policy...

Jme souviens nous on chargais 15% restocking fees si cetais un ordi/TV/cellphone ou si tu arriavais avec des object manque (manual, assesories)

They only charge a restocking fee if you're missing anything that came with it.

ca depent des politiques du magasin ou de la chaine.
