Shop Representative
TWM Performance is currently looking for a full time webmaster/web developer for Short Shifters by TWM Performance and Shift Knobs by TWM Performance Shift Knobs. TWM is located in Napierville next to the drag strip, approximately 20 minutes south of the Champlain bridge.
The ideal candidate will have excellent website management capabilities and be familiar with today's "Best Practices" in web design and maintenance. The Webmaster / Web Developer will be responsible for all corporate websites, including website development and content management. The ability to hand code HTML is a requirement and the ability to create visually appealing web pages is very important.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
-Automotive enthusiast with good general knowledge of the tuning/aftermarket industry
-Any combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities for acceptable job performance, such as a DEC or BSC in Computer Science or related field.
-Self motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly
-Experience with website design (website examples appreciated)
-Knowledge of e-commerce and SEO
-Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Flash, PHP, CSS, MySQL etc.
-Knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of Google analytics for conversion tracking
-Good understanding of internet marketing
-Relevant work experience
Tasks will include:
-Creation and maintenance of new web pages, updating existing pages
-Website maintenance, backups, PC and server upgrades
-Monthly site-wide updates
-Composition and design of newsletters
-Implementing additional sitewide functionality
-Visually appealing graphics creation for website, online advertising, newsletters, etc
-Creative input for marketing department
-Online promotion of TWM products on online automotive forums
